An Arkansas Democrat and nominee for statewide office have been arrested for making “terroristic threats” online just days ahead of the election, and she live-streamed the arrest, during which she hid from police in a bathroom, calling people and live streaming as she claimed the police would try to hurt her.

Her name will remain on the ballot. If she wins but is then convicted, Democrat Diamond Arnold-Johnson will have to be removed from office, and a replacement will be appointed by Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
