Speaker Nancy Pelosi is not taking Election Night in 2021 very well. When asked about last night’s results on Capitol Hill, she got a little snippy.
“Does it change the agenda for the House, now?” a reporter asked.
“No,” she said and then walked away.
“Pelosi’s reaction to last night’s results is priceless,” Benny Johnson tweeted. “She’s pissed.”
But it’s clear that Tuesday’s election results were a political earthquake with ramifications throughout the remainder of the U.S. Congressional session.

Joe Manchin is now President of the United States

Earlier this week, moderate Senator Joe Manchin was resistent to the Democrats’ big legislative demands.
“To be clear, I will not support the reconciliation legislation without knowing how the bill would impact our debt and our economy and our country,” Manchin said during a Monday press conference. “We won’t know that until we work through the text.”
Manchin was actually asked about his reaction to last night’s elections. It wasn’t good for the Pelosi/Schumer/Biden agenda.
Manchin just gaggled with us on the electoral results. Says need to “take time” to negotiate social safety net bill. Also says he can’t support paid leave in bill after Pelosi announced they would add four weeks. Says House will do what they do, and then Senate will respond

I asked Manchin for his takeaways on last night. He said people are worried about inflation and rising costs.

“Pay attention to people back home. They'll tell you what's going on,” he said.
What is “going on” is a lot of the Democrats’ radical agenda is dead. And a very ‘pissed’ Nancy Pelosi knows it.
