Earlier this month, Elon Musk put forward a perfectly reasonable peace plan to end the war in Ukraine and was told to “f**k off” by Ukrainian diplomat Andrij Melnyk and accused of “supporting Russia” by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukraine-Russia Peace:

– Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.
– Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).
– Water supply to Crimea assured.
– Ukraine remains neutral.

Oleksii Arestovych, who works as an advisor to Zelensky on the war, threatened Musk by sharing a photoshopped image of his face superimposed over the face of pro-Russian Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk, who was arrested (and potentially tortured) by the SBU earlier this year at the start of the war.

“We work promptly,” Arestovych’s caption says.
Zelensky has also authorized the re-arrest of his main political rival, Viktor Medvedchuk, the founder of Ukraine's second most popular party, charged w/"treason."

On Thursday, it came out that Musk’s Starlink is planning to stop footing the bill for their free satellite internet service to Ukraine.
“Elon Musk’s Starlink says it can no longer afford to give Ukraine free service and asks the Pentagon to pay for it,” Kyiv Post’s Jason Smart said on Twitter. “Starlink had been a game changer in the war. This comes days after Ukrainian Ambassador @MelnykAndrij told Musk to ‘f–k off.’”
“We’re just following his recommendation,” Musk responded, adding a shrug emoji.
Elon Musk’s Starlink says it can no longer afford to give Ukraine 🇺🇦 free service and asks the Pentagon 🇺🇸 to pay for it. Starlink had been a game changer in the war.

This comes days after Ukrainian Ambassador @MelnykAndrij told Musk to “fuck off.”
Musk said providing the service is costing them almost $20 million a month.
And could you pls tell how much money @SpaceX spent for maintaining starlink in Ukraine 🇺🇦??@elonmusk

Nonetheless, their belligerence appears to have made it more likely that Musk will follow through on his plan to cut them off.
Ukraine has the worst diplomats on the entire planet (including Zelenskyhimself) yet they’re getting tens of billions of dollars from the West to “fight to the last Ukrainian” in a NATO proxy war with Russia.
