Recently, Tucker Carlson focused the nation’s attention on the notable silence of American Christian leaders on the Biden administration’s persecution of Christians by asking,
Where are all the professional Christians? You have to wonder … [w]here’s … all these people who are [should be] defending Christianity … as actual Christians are being arrested for being Christians?” (emphasis added).

There are a host of excuses such professional Christian leaders might offer to explain or justify their silence. But for the most part, most of these excuses have been debunked by people like Eric Metaxas in his latest book, Letter to the American Church. In it, he points out that, because American church leaders today have before them the example of the dire consequences that resulted from the silence of the German church when it was confronted by the evils of Nazi tyranny, the American church has no excuse for remaining silent in the face of the similar evils presently metastasizing in this country on an ever-growing number of fronts.
All three Apostolic Churches have let the people down. The Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican communions are pathetic shadows of what they once were.
I am a White, Conservative, Born Again, Bible Believing Christian. I find it hard in this day and age to find a church that isn’t wrapped up in the denomination and wokeness. There is too much watered down Holy Bible in sermons and Bible Studies.
When I was a teenager, we left The Methodist Church because of their affiliation with The World Council of Churches. The land and building had been a labor of love from the congregation and church-goers. The Methodist Organization came and attached padlocks to every door. They stated “the price” that the land and the building were worth. We had Our Church in a families home until enough money could be raised to buy back the donated land, donated building supplies, and donated labor from The Methodist Organization. Our building became “Fairview Bible Church” and it still stands today with a large congregation that all have a say in what happens with The Church. That’s been 40 years ago and I still am not comfortable going to a denominational church. That time left a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m far from perfect but I pray to My God Above and Jesus Christ My Lord and Savior for forgiveness, strength, guidance, wisdom, and discernment. And I pray for America, Her Leaders, and We, The Citizens.
