Elon Musk shared instructions on Twitter where someone can see how they are being manipulated by Twitter.

1. Tap home button.
2. Tap stars on upper right of screen.
3. Select “Latest tweets”.
You are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you don’t realize.
Easy to switch back & forth to see the difference.

“Illuminaughty” in Musk’s humor is referring to the Illuminati that many have claimed for years are running the world behind the scenes.
Next Musk shared the following about his first tweet directed at Twitter users who are being manipulated by the social media giant. Musk suggests that these algorithms that put tweets in front of a Twitter user may not be malicious but you may be manipulated by them.
Then Musk shared that there may be bugs in the code which is a reason why Twitter should be open source; this would make the company much more transparent and therefore will increase public trust.
I’m not suggesting malice in the algorithm, but rather that it’s trying to guess what you might want to read and, in doing so, inadvertently manipulate/amplify your viewpoints without you realizing this is happening
