FURIOUS Tories led by Jacob Rees-Mogg are preparing to deliver the knockout blow to Theresa May’s time in Number 10.

The PM’s job is hanging by a thread as she faces a vote of no confidence after a wave of resignations over her Brexit deal.

It comes as ex-Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab, who lit the touch paper on the crisis by quitting this morning, told the BBC he wouldn’t rule out running for leader when she is toppled.

The bombshell resignations from Mr Raab, Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey and four others come after Mrs May revealed details of the deal she’s thrashed out with Brussels

The agreement would leave Britain tied to the EU for years and could break up the UK by forcing Northern Ireland into a different legal regime.

Today Mr Rees-Mogg, leader of the Tory Brexiteers, revealed he will send in a letter calling for the PM to resign and challenged her to her face to explain why he should back her after listing a string of promises broken in the withdrawal agreement.
